The pedo-climatic conditions of the Pianura Pontina, unique in Italy,
are ideal for the cultivation of kiwi and for obtaining a tasty fruit.

Our soils are of a medium mixture tending to clay with balanced components between silt, clay and sand.

Fresh, deep and well drained, our soils are rich in organic and mineral substances including potassium,
iron and magnesium, ideal for this fruit.

The typicality of our kiwi comes from the combination of two factors: the temperate-humid climate
and the particular characteristics of the soil, rich in minerals of volcanic and alluvial origin and humus.

In Italy, in the late 1970s, our area is the first to be mentioned as a special area for the cultivation of kiwi.
