The agricultural company Demetrio Parlapiano has a long history. In fact, already in 1946 the passion for agriculture led to the birth of a thriving family business.
The techniques and tools that were gradually refined lay the foundation for the birth of the first Kiwi plant on a surface of 3 hectares. We are in the 1980s, the year in which Italy had just discovered this fruit.
After about a decade, the company expanded, increased its cultivation and maintained its product through cold storage and packaging. In the years 2000 it converters his production to the biodynamic method and dedicates exclusively to this culture.
In the years 2009 a new plant equipped with anti-hail cover meant that the company grew and improved more and more.
Today it is specialized in the production and distribution of the Hayward variety of kiwi from biodynamic agriculture on an area of about 20 hectares in the Agro Pontino in Cisterna di Latina.
Over time, the refinement of agronomic techniques and the ever deeper knowledge of this new variety of kiwis, have enabled the company to better meet the needs of plants in the most natural way (sovesci*, letamazioni, prepared 500/501) increasing Humus and life in the land.
Once the kiwi is harvested, it is stored in controlled atmosphere cells made inside a new special structure. Subsequently the product is packaged and marketed in the required formats.
